Nitrate results are all already publicly available on Drinking Water Watch: Drinking Water Branch. DWEE does not maintain the laboratory reports in-house; it comes directly into our SDWIS database from the labs. You would need to contact the state health lab for access to any of the actual reports. Additionally, program staff stated that Well 501 was not removed from service, and we don't have any correspondence regarding a request to do so. The PFAS initial monitoring project is voluntary and ongoing through April 2027. The results are not in Drinking Water Watch because compliance with the new PFAS rule does not begin until 2029. The Department will make this dataset publicly available when it is complete. WHPA shapefile, is publicly available on: NebraskaMap. Click the link and then search for Wellhead; the map layer will pop up. There are documents for this request that are being withheld under Neb. Rev. Stat. § 84-712.05(09). An index with the description of these records is below. The Records Management Section Supervisor has determined that this information should be withheld. 1. If Cherry County voters approve an increase from three to five commissioners, must Cherry County establish five commissioner districts under § 23-151?
* No. Cherry County currently elects commissioners at large pursuant to § 32-554, and that will remain the case if this measure passes to change the number of commissioners. A separate action under § 32-554(1)(a) would be necessary to change to electing by district.
* Should this pass, the two new commissioners would both be for two-year terms (appointed to serve until 1st Thursday after 1st Tuesday in January following the next statewide general election [§32-528(4)]).
* Statute specifies that, in the first primary held after the appointment of the two new commissioners (i.e., the 2028 primary), all county commissioner districts would be up, with two four-year terms and three two-year terms (§32-528). The result would be three commissioners up again in 2030 and two up in 2032, all for four-year terms.
